Expenses covered include:
Lost wages as a result of time taken off work to re-establish identity
Fees associated with re-filing applications for loans, grants, or other credit that are rejected due to incorrect information as a result of the identity fraud
Costs for notarizing affidavits or other similar documents, long distance telephone calls, travel and postage incurred as a result of the member's efforts to report an identity fraud or amend or rectify records as to the member’s true name or identity
Legal fees, up to $125 per hour, for defense of any legal action brought against the member for non-payment of goods or services or default on a loan and defense or removal of any civil judgment wrongly entered as a result of the identity fraud
Unrecoverable funds, exclusive of interest, directly drawn from or removed through an unauthorized electronic fund transfer from the member’s financial account due to an act of fraud, embezzlement, theft, forgery or other data breach which have not been recovered
